CSA Resources

Start here for links to a number of CSA resources. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and it is one lever at our disposal when it comes to supporting our local food systems and those who are responsible for growing and distributing the food we eat daily.

Here you’ll find resources for locating a CSA near you. Learn more about what produce is available each season in your area and read up on a few blog posts where I share tips and ideas for cooking nourishing meals with each season.

I offer a quick summary below for each of the resources shared here. I’ve embedded site links as well so you can click directly to learn more about each.

Our CSA: Sage Mountain Farm

This is the CSA that inspired this blog in the first place. We’ve been members since April 2020 and have so enjoyed the fresh, seasonal produce we receive (nearly) each week! Click below to learn more about this family farm. From eggs, meat and poultry, and produce, you can get the bulk of your week’s food supply from this CSA. If you’re in the Southern California region, check them out! They have a number of pick-up/drop-off locations across the area.

CSA Resource: Local Harvest

Localharvest.org is another great resource if you are looking for a CSA in your area. The page will default to your location so can narrow your search right away. This a national database and you can search for CSA or even just local farms in your area.

CSA Resource: California Farm Directory

For all my fellow Californians, if you haven’t yet checked out the California Farm Directory this is a good one!

CSA Resource: Seasonal Food Guide

Want to know what’s in season near you each part of the month? Seasonal Food Guide offers filtered lists by location, month, even type of produce.
