It’s Week 21 of Dinner Plans and we’re seeing the daylight for summer produce!
We are starting to see the first early signs of summer produce now and I’m counting down to it all. We’re spotting the first tomatoes of the season. I personally love the in-between time of seasons where asparagus and snap peas are found alongside tomatoes and summer melons.
Dinner Plans for the Week
I opted to hold this week’s CSA box as we have ample produce left to use up. I’ll rely on our freezer goodies to help plan the weeks meals. I’m craving simple comforts this week so we’ll see a quiche on the menu. We’ve also got a very special birthday on the calendar this week as my husband celebrates a big milestone birthday. We are excited to celebrate him this week.
Our Game Plan for Dinner this Week:
Sunday: Roast Chicken with Polenta and Roast Broccolini
Monday: Asparagus Tart in Puff Pastry Adapted from my Roast Carrot Tart
Tuesday: Grilled Mushroom Tacos with Cucumber Salad
Wednesday: Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with Romaine and Focaccia Croutons
Thursday: Steak Frites and a Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Bavarian and Chocolate Swiss Buttercream to Celebrate Our Guy 🎂
Friday: Birthday Dinner Out to Celebrate Our Guy ❤️
Saturday: Pizza Margherita with our favorite pizza sauce at the moment
