Dinner Plans: Week 33

It’s Week 33 of Dinner Plans and this week is all about settling into our new home with ease. Boxes are slowly getting unpacked and the fair is in town which is super exciting given it was our first weekend here! My parents and sisters also came up for a surprise visit which was so wonderful. It was also reassuring to our kids who realized that we’re not as far away from family as it might have felt initially.

As we work to unpack and learn more about our new neighborhood, setting up the kitchen and pantry area was priority number 1 for me. I still have a ways to go to get the pantry set up with organizers and baskets. However, we have ample storage and I’m so grateful for that.

Dinner planning is a bit looser this week as I shop local markets for produce. As we settle in our new space, dinner plans need to be quick and easy. I plan to visit our local farmers market this weekend. I’ll share my finds on IG Stories so stay tuned for that.

Here’s Our Game Plan for Dinner This Week

Sunday: Speedy Burger Sliders with Side Salad and Potato Chips

Monday: Zucchini Tart in Puff Pastry to test out the new oven!

Tuesday: Beef and Potato Tacos

Wednesday: 30 Minutes Pasta with Hearty Heirloom Tomato Sauce

Thursday: Broccolini and Beans Pasta Salad

Friday: Summertime BLT using our garden tomatoes (recipe ideas here and here)

Saturday: Supreme Pizza with Olives, Sliced Red Onions, Pepperoni, and Sausage

From favorite recipes to new things with a wide variety of ingredients, cooking delicious food with our CSA definitely gets us out of a dinner rut and reduce food waste. I share meal ideas for our busy weeks with our weekly newsletter. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter to be in the know when they’re live. 😉

Cheers to a nourishing week. ❤️
