    Dinner Plans: Week 45

Week 45 of Dinner Plans and we're gearing up lots of family time this month!

We've got lots of family time planned, starting with my sisters' arrival this weekend. I'm looking forward to hosting them and their significant others. And, of course, I'm looking forward to all the delicious meals we'll make together!

    Dinner Plans for Week 45

I've got a blend of freezer meals and meal planning this week as I prep for family to arrive Friday night. My sisters have requested Steak Frites and I'll pick up a nice Napa cabernet to ring in the weekend. An early Thanksgiving is also on the menu, so I'll start dry brining our 14 pound turkey later this week. Tonight's dinner is a decadent change up as we'll make a yummy filling for ravioli and a beef short rib ragu that I've been wanting to make.

Here’s what caught my attention in our garden, fridge, freezer, and pantry this week:

    • Freezer Butternut Squash Cubes
    • 2 pounds Short Ribs
    • 4 pounds Russet Potatoes
    • Frozen Edamame, Corn, and Peppers
    • 4 pounds Turkey Breast
    • Freezer pesto cubes
    • Freezer Fajita Mix

Our Game Plan for Dinner this Week:

Sunday: Butternut Squash Ravioli with Short Rib Ragu

Monday: Crispy Marinated Tofu Rice Bowls with Stir Fry Freezer Veggies

Tuesday: Chicken Fajitas with Sonora-Style Flour Tortillas

Wednesday: Roast Turkey Breast with Roast Carrots and Cauliflower Puree

    Thursday: Chorizo & Potato Tacos

    Friday: Steak Frites!

Saturday: Sister Dinner In! Deciding between a Risotto or Fresh Pasta

From favorite recipes to new meal ideas using a wide variety of ingredients, cooking delicious food with our CSA definitely gets us out of a dinner rut while reducing food waste. I share meal ideas for our busy weeks with our weekly newsletter. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter to be in the know when they’re live. 😉
