It’s Week 35 of Dinner Plans and this week I feel like we’re finally getting into a groove cooking in our new home. The Napa Farmers Market has been such a treat to explore each week! I love the option of a weekday farmers market run if I run out of ingredients or want to pick up something I didn’t pick up on Saturdays.
This week I picked up a few items to build on what we had remaining from last week. Our countertop is bursting with late summer produce from eggplant to lots of tomatoes and the first figs I picked from our tree. We awoke to a drizzly Saturday morning at the market which felt even more like fall is around the corner.
I’m also patiently awaiting the peaches on our peach tree to ripen. They’re getting close which means I’ll get to make this compote or add this galette to our desserts and sweets menu in the coming weeks. I can’t wait!
Here’s Our Game Plan for Dinner This Week
Sunday: Zucchini Parmesan makes the perfect family supper.
Monday: Rustic Ratatouille with Herby Polenta for that beautiful eggplant!
Tuesday: Chipotle Lime Salmon Tostadas (recipe coming this week!)
Wednesday: Mushroom Risotto (recipe coming to the blog this week but you can get a version of it from IG here)
Thursday: Crispy Chicken Cutlets with 30 Minutes Pasta with Hearty Heirloom Tomato Sauce
Friday: Maple Harissa Roast Eggplant (finalizing recipe for next week)
Saturday: Pizza with Zucchini Basil Pesto, Tomato, and Fior di Latte
From favorite recipes to new things with a wide variety of ingredients, cooking delicious food with our CSA definitely gets us out of a dinner rut and reduce food waste. I share meal ideas for our busy weeks with our weekly newsletter. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter to be in the know when they’re live. 😉
Cheers to a nourishing week. ❤️
